Remote Supports:
The provision of support by staff or an agency provider at a remote location who are engaged with an individual through equipment with the capability for live two-way communication may include: motion sensing system; radio frequency identification; live video feed; live audio feed; web-based monitoring system; or another device that facilitates live two-way communication.
Individual Support Technologies:
Individual support technologies are identified as technologies for personal use. These may include technologies such as augmentative and alternative communication systems (AAC), computers, tablets, way-finding support devices, or more traditional assistive technology such as hearing, speech, vision, and mobility technologies.
Smart Homes:
Home equipped with network-connected products for controlling, automating, and optimizing functions such as temperature, lighting, security etc. either remotely or by a separate system within the home.
